Shipping policy
Shipping Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through elmontwear.co.uk, operated by LCOSTA ECOM LTD, 483 Green Lanes, London, England, N13 4FG.
This policy explains where we deliver, order processing and dispatch times, estimated delivery times, tracking, international customs and duties, delivery issues and your rights in relation to your shipment.
1. Where We Deliver
We currently deliver to:
-
United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
-
Selected European countries
-
United States
-
Canada
-
Australia
The countries and regions currently available for delivery will be displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to temporarily restrict delivery to certain locations where delivery services are unavailable, suspended, subject to exceptional disruption or otherwise cannot reasonably be completed.
If we are unable to fulfil an order to your selected destination, we will contact you and provide an appropriate solution, including a refund where necessary.
2. Order Processing and Confirmation
Once an order has been successfully placed, you will receive an order confirmation using the contact information provided during checkout.
Orders are subject to successful payment authorisation and our usual order verification procedures.
Please check your order confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if you notice any incorrect information.
3. Dispatch Time
Orders are normally dispatched within 2 to 5 business days after the order is confirmed.
Business days for dispatch are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
The dispatch period is separate from the delivery period.
Once your parcel has been handed to the relevant carrier or logistics provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information where available.
During exceptionally busy periods, major promotional events or circumstances outside our reasonable control, dispatch may occasionally take longer. Where a significant delay affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times apply after the order has been dispatched.
United Kingdom:
5 to 10 business days after dispatch.
Selected European countries:
7 to 14 business days after dispatch.
United States:
7 to 14 business days after dispatch.
Canada:
7 to 14 business days after dispatch.
Australia:
7 to 14 business days after dispatch.
These delivery times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates unless a guaranteed service is expressly stated at checkout.
Weekends and public holidays in the destination country may affect delivery times.
5. Estimated Total Time From Order to Delivery
For clarity, our normal estimated timeframe includes both the dispatch period and the delivery period.
For UK orders, this means the normal estimated total timeframe may be approximately 7 to 15 business days from order confirmation.
For European, United States, Canadian and Australian orders, the normal estimated total timeframe may be approximately 9 to 19 business days from order confirmation.
These total timeframes are estimates and may vary where circumstances outside our reasonable control affect dispatch, customs clearance or transportation.
Where applicable law provides additional delivery rights or deadlines, those statutory rights will continue to apply.
6. International Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, local taxes, sales taxes, GST, VAT, handling charges or other charges imposed by the destination country.
The treatment of duties and taxes may vary depending on the destination and the shipping method selected.
Where applicable duties and taxes are calculated and collected by us at checkout, they will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Where duties, taxes or customs charges are not collected at checkout, additional charges may be payable to the relevant customs authority, government authority, postal operator or delivery carrier before or upon delivery.
Any such charges imposed by authorities in the destination country are governed by the laws and customs regulations of that country.
Customers are responsible for reviewing any applicable import requirements in their country.
Customs clearance may occasionally delay an international shipment. Such delays are generally outside our direct control.
Nothing in this section affects any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
7. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs, where applicable, are calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Where Free Shipping is offered, the qualifying conditions will be displayed on the relevant product page, promotional material or at checkout.
Shipping charges may vary depending on destination, order value, delivery service and any active promotional offer.
No additional shipping charge will be added after the order has been completed unless the customer specifically requests and agrees to a new service or redelivery arrangement.
8. Order Tracking
Every eligible order is shipped with tracking.
Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent to the email address or contact method associated with your order.
Please allow approximately 24 to 48 hours after dispatch for the carrier's first tracking scan or movement to appear.
In some cases, particularly with international shipments, tracking information may temporarily remain unchanged while a parcel is moving between logistics hubs or countries.
A temporary absence of tracking updates does not necessarily mean that the parcel has stopped moving or has been lost.
9. Tracking Information and Carrier Updates
Tracking information is provided by independent carriers and logistics partners.
Tracking scans may occasionally be delayed, uploaded retrospectively or displayed differently when a parcel is transferred between international and local delivery networks.
Where a customer reports a delivery issue, we may use carrier tracking data, delivery scans, delivery photographs, signatures, GPS information or other information provided by the delivery company when investigating the shipment.
A carrier status will be considered together with all relevant information when resolving a delivery complaint.
10. Delivery Address
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.
Please carefully check:
-
Recipient name
-
House or building number
-
Street name
-
Apartment or unit number, where applicable
-
City
-
State, province or county, where applicable
-
Postal or ZIP code
-
Country
-
Contact telephone number, where requested
If you notice an error in your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible at contact@elmontwear.co.uk.
If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to update the address.
If the parcel has already been dispatched, we may request an address correction from the carrier, but we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to make the requested change.
11. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address supplied by the customer was materially incorrect or incomplete, the carrier may return the parcel to us or to the relevant fulfilment facility.
Once the parcel has been returned and confirmed, we will contact the customer regarding the available options.
Where permitted by applicable law, additional delivery charges may apply if the customer requests redelivery following an unsuccessful delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.
This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.
12. Failed Delivery Attempts and Unclaimed Parcels
Depending on the carrier and destination, one or more delivery attempts may be made.
If nobody is available to receive the parcel, the carrier may:
-
Attempt delivery again;
-
Leave the parcel in an authorised safe location;
-
Deliver it to a neighbour where permitted;
-
Send it to a local collection point; or
-
Return it to the sender or fulfilment facility.
Customers should follow the instructions provided by the carrier through the tracking information.
If a parcel is returned because it was not collected or because delivery attempts were unsuccessful, please contact us so that we can review the available redelivery or refund options in accordance with applicable law and our Refund Policy.
13. Delivery Delays
Although we work with our logistics partners to deliver orders within the estimated timeframe, delays can occasionally occur.
Possible causes include, but are not limited to:
-
Customs inspections or clearance;
-
Severe weather;
-
Public holidays;
-
Postal or courier disruption;
-
Industrial action or strikes;
-
Transportation disruption;
-
Airport or port congestion;
-
High seasonal demand;
-
Peak promotional periods;
-
Local delivery restrictions;
-
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information; or
-
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will make reasonable efforts to provide updated information.
Where UK consumer law applies, nothing in this Shipping Policy limits any statutory rights relating to delayed or failed delivery.
14. Lost or Undelivered Parcels
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery timeframe, please first check the tracking information provided with your shipment.
If there has been no meaningful tracking update or the shipment appears to be substantially delayed, contact us at contact@elmontwear.co.uk.
We will investigate the shipment with the relevant logistics provider.
Depending on the outcome of the investigation and the circumstances of the order, we may arrange:
-
Continued delivery;
-
A replacement shipment; or
-
A refund where appropriate.
A parcel will not automatically be considered lost solely because tracking has not updated for a short period.
15. Parcels Marked as Delivered but Not Received
If tracking shows that your order has been delivered but you cannot locate the parcel, please check:
-
Around the delivery location;
-
Any designated safe place;
-
With other members of your household;
-
With neighbours or building reception where appropriate; and
-
Any delivery photograph, message or collection instructions provided by the carrier.
If you still cannot locate the parcel, contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of the recorded delivery date.
We will review the available delivery information and, where necessary, open an investigation with the carrier.
We will determine the appropriate resolution based on the evidence available and your rights under applicable law.
16. Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged or the items inside have been damaged during transportation, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
To assist our investigation, we may request photographs of:
-
The external packaging;
-
The shipping label;
-
The damaged item; and
-
Any damage to the internal packaging.
This information helps us investigate the shipment with the carrier and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement, refund or another remedy in accordance with applicable law and our Refund Policy.
17. Missing Items
If your order arrives but one or more items are missing, please contact us as soon as possible.
Some orders may be dispatched in more than one parcel.
Before reporting an item as missing, please check your shipping confirmation and tracking information to determine whether the remaining items are travelling separately.
If an item is confirmed as missing, we will investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.
18. Split Shipments
Where an order contains multiple products, items may occasionally be dispatched separately depending on stock location, fulfilment arrangements or logistics requirements.
As a result, you may receive more than one parcel for the same order.
Separate tracking numbers may be provided where applicable.
You will not be charged additional shipping fees solely because we choose to divide an order into multiple shipments after purchase.
19. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where cancellation is still operationally possible, we will cancel the order and issue the appropriate refund.
If the parcel has already been dispatched before the cancellation request can be processed, the order may need to be handled under our Refund Policy and any applicable statutory cancellation or return rights.
20. Cancellation and Returns After Dispatch
Dispatch of an order does not remove any mandatory cancellation, return or refund rights that you may have under applicable consumer law.
For UK consumers purchasing eligible goods online, statutory cancellation rights may apply after delivery, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full information regarding cancellations, returns, return conditions and refunds.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to restrict or exclude any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
21. Responsibility for Goods During Delivery
Where required by applicable consumer law, responsibility for the goods remains with us until the goods are delivered into the physical possession of the customer or another person identified by the customer to receive them.
Different rules may apply where a customer independently arranges a carrier that was not offered by us.
Nothing in this policy transfers delivery risk to the customer earlier than permitted by applicable law.
22. Delivery Restrictions
Certain products or delivery services may not be available to every location.
We may be unable to deliver to certain remote areas, PO boxes, military addresses, freight forwarding addresses or other restricted locations depending on carrier availability.
Where an address cannot be served, this will normally be identified at checkout or during order processing.
If we cannot reasonably deliver an accepted order, we will contact the customer to arrange an appropriate solution.
23. International Delivery Requirements
Customers placing international orders are responsible for providing any information reasonably required for customs clearance or delivery.
Depending on the destination, the carrier or customs authority may request additional identification, tax information or other documentation before releasing the shipment.
Failure to provide information required by the destination country's authorities may result in customs delays or the parcel being returned.
Any action we take in these circumstances will remain subject to applicable consumer law.
24. Changes to Delivery Services
From time to time, we may change the carriers or logistics providers used to fulfil orders.
The specific carrier may vary depending on the customer's location, product, fulfilment centre and operational requirements.
Any such change will not reduce the statutory rights of the customer.
25. Our Legal Obligations
We aim to dispatch and deliver all orders within the timeframes stated in this policy.
Where UK consumer law applies, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within any timeframe expressly agreed with the customer.
Where no different timeframe has been agreed, applicable statutory delivery requirements will continue to apply.
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts or otherwise affects rights that consumers are entitled to under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Customers located outside the United Kingdom may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws applicable in their country or region.
Where such mandatory rights apply, they take precedence over any conflicting provision of this policy.
